And maybe two of the three of my first thoughts at the news were horrible and selfish. And maybe I'm ok with that. <br /><br />thought 1: oh poor [insert common man's name here]! God, bless his heart!<br />thought 2: I would have married him years ago and wouldn't have done this to him.<br />thought 3: I wonder if that means there's hope for "us."<br /><br />Slight problem: this is his third fiancee. The first resulted in a 10-year marriage. The next two failed. AND this last one is a friend of mine. Albeit he and I are closer than she and I, yet still. And their relationship isn't even cold yet and I'm a'gunnin' for him to go ahead and do all that healing and soul-searching and all that jazz just so I can have a go with him.<br /><br />In other news:<br />I'm craving cheese dip.<br />I love my Costco membership.<br />I offered to buy a complete stranger an LL Bean robe today. I only know him from his book and his articles and blogs. I'm pretty sure it can all be classified as creepy and stalker-ish.<br />I love listening to the RENT soundtrack (original broadway cast, of course) on random. It makes it fun to hear things out of order.<br /><br /><br />Nashville for St. Patrick's Day. Anyone in?
